Some Armchair Travelling for Autumn - Three Suggestions

1. Just as Koreans dress seriously for trekking, many also seem to have all the necessary equipment and gear for a 5-star stay in campervans or top-notch tents. Click here if you want to learn more about camping, K-style. ( article from KBS World Radio website ) or here to read what the Korea Herald has to say.

2. I also tuned into this interview with the president of the Korean Mountain Preservation League to learn how a group of Koreans and expats living in the country have come together for a worthy cause. To learn more about volunteer work to remove litter from the trails of the national parks in South Korea, click here.   ( sorry but you then need to click again on the orange icon at the top right hand corner) or here.

3. Watching this short video on the autumn foliage in Seoraksan brought back a lot of  memories of the crowds that descended on the national parks. Click here to be forewarned. It's also interesting to hear the views of Koreans who love exploring the different trails during this season.
